17 of 365! The point of this picture is to point out the scary finger claws that this parrot has!!

I'm so upset that I went skating yesterday and forgot my camera! So I can't even technically call this mine because my friend took it to emphasize how big his size 15 skate was. His sneakers are actually a larger size but they didn't have any sizes higher than that in skates! (For comparison, my shoe is a 7.5 womens).

16 of 365! Most random grocery shopping trip ever! Not intentionally though. It was ungodly busy and I was in a store I don't shop in that often. I couldn't stop to even look where I wanted to go. Had it not been so far I would have turned and walked out but decided to push forth for just a few items. People can be nasty with their carts!

15 of 365! So this is actually not the picture I wanted to take at all. I wanted to take a picture of the pretty honey chicken and vegetables we had but we both started digging into the food and I didn't remember till well into the meal. So this will have to do! :D

14 of 365! I love hot showers at home. I specify home because as much as I love hot/warm showers, it is not quite as enjoyable in a starchy hotel shower and not even close to home when in a camping shower (that doesn't even qualify as warm!). I love when I have the day off and can spend 20 minutes in the shower, standing in the warmth and washing the filth away. On this note of warm cleansing, I also thoroughly enjoy getting my hair washed at a salon. Their shampoos and conditioners always smell better than my own and I like the vigorous hair washing.

13 of 365! Today has been a Fullmetal Alchemist marathon day! I had watched the original series back in 2003 or 04 and recently discovered a new series called, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. From what I understand it is set in the same universe/same story to begin with and then will take the original story in a different direction. I also hear that one of the main characters, Edward, will become older which is cool too. I am on episode 9 now.

This picture (of my monitor) is of the very last thing you see after the credits and after a preview of the next episode featuring a character from that episode.

12 of 365! This is a picture taken while dinking around with the new camera. This was shot in a low light situation, in close up mode with no flash. You can tell that it focused on the centermost leaf but I think the detail isn't too bad for a quick shot with no other adjustments to settings. Those leaves could use some dusting! :D

11 of 365! Today's photo comes to you from my cell phone! I worked a third shift and this is me leaving in the AM. I thought this came out well considering it was my cell phone.

This is a random photo from work while leaving, I thought it was funny. DENIED! Soup Nazi says, "No soup for you!". :D The quality of this photo is more of what I expected from a camera phone.

10 of 365! My boyfriend is currently educating himself on bicycles because he would like to get a newer/higher-end bike. We went to several bicycle shops in our area and since I already have a new mountain bike I decided to do some shopping while he chatted with the retailers. One of my purchases was bungee cord shoe laces! You cinch up your sneakers and then you don't have to worry about tying your laces. I haven't laced them into shoes yet because I haven't decided which pair to put them in but I'm excited to try these out and hope they aren't too complicated! I will comment on this when I do!

9 of 365! "These are a few of my favorite things"...at the moment! This was a robe that I received for Christmas. It came free with some perfume and I LOVE it! It is so soft, light and it has pockets. I have tried using a robe before (when I was a kid) but it ended up hanging on a hook and never used. I'm not sure why I like robes now. My boyfriend jokes that it was an 80 dollar robe with free perfume since I talk about the robe more than the perfume! Haha.

8 of 365! Today's post was a random little find in Target. A childrens book called, 'Bear in Underwear'! Haha. Except when I opened the book the bear was naked so apparently he hasn't found them yet or this is a book about a streaker bear...

If it wasn't 12 bucks for a book that didn't seem to have many words, I would have bought this gem. :D

7 of 365! I'm noticing a pattern with my photos involving food! Haha. Made some popcorn to enjoy a movie my boyfriend rented and let me borrow. New camera arrived today! It turns on fast with no opening screens and is crazy easy to use. I think I pretty much figured everything out in the first minutes of using it. Will take the first 365 shot with it tomorrow!

6 of 365! Sorry for the late post, I was so tired yesterday that I slept for 11 hours! This picture was taken at work. It is one of the four control panel types we use. Another type we have is a touch screen and another one has a picture of the skeleton on it.

The Chest AP is brighter because that is the setting selected. I have it on free floating, meaning I am taking an x-ray right in their cart with the film directly behind their back. I will post another later today for my 01/19/11 pic!

5 of 365! I am frustrated that I took multiple pictures I liked with my phone today and when I tried sending them to email none of them came across. So now it is becoming late and I need to post a picture so I can get to sleep for work.

This is a picture of a product I recently tried called Clif bars. They are energy in the form of calories and have 10 grams of protein and 5 grams of fiber. They make for a filling and healthier snack option. I have only tried two flavors so far but right now the winner is Chocolate Chip.

4 of 365! First time at Whole Foods today. I took this one specifically because of the '365', too bad it wasn't my 365th picture!

3 of 365! "It feels like the first time..." This was the first time I had ever tried Dairy Queen's onion rings. They were restaurant style and tasted good but I hate when the onion slides out. That happened once or twice while eating these. This isn't the greatest quality photo and I wish I had been more creative but I get shy when people are looking at me so I quickly took this photo and ate them before they got cold.

1 of 365! My first picture is of Swedish currency my boyfriend's Father brought back for me from his recent trip to Sweden. My Mormor and Morfar (Mother's Mother and Mother's Father) came to America in the 1950's and we still celebrate the Swedish culture in much of our daily lives.
